Cattaraugus Indian Reservation Deaths 1997-1998 Part of the Cattaraugus Indian Reservation lies within the boundaries of the Town of Collins. Most of the obituaries & death notices simply list the person as being from the Cattaraugus Indian Reservation, therefore Issues has decided to include all death notices from the Cattaraugus Indian Reservation as a separate entity. BEATRICE L. KENNEDY Beatrice L. Kennedy, 65, of Gowanda, a homemaker and mother of five, died Saturday (March 1, 1997) in Brooks Memorial Hospital, Dunkirk, after a brief illness. Born in the Town of Collins, she was a member of the Pinewoods Association and the Newtown Longhouse Survivors include one son, Allen J. Renaud of Gowanda; two sisters, Iva Brant of Gowanda and Althea Hicks of Steamburg; and five grandchildren. Services will be held at 10 a.m. Tuesday in Schindler Funeral Home, 44 Center St., Gowanda.
