The Bartlett Family Genealogy Smith was born in Cumberland, Providence, Rhode Island on April 11, 1790; the son of Abner Bartlett and Drucilla Smith Bartlett. He was the brother of: Dexter Bartlett, B: September 22, 1782; Savid Bartlett, B: November 5, 1787; Abel Bartlett, B: June 21, 1793; Mary Bartlett, (a twin) B: April 25, 1795; Lydia Bartlett (a twin)B: April 25, 1795; Daniel Bartlett, B: April 8, 1798; and Jeremy Bartlett, B: January 16, 1800. Smith married Sarah Allen, B: May 16, 1796, daughter of Zoeth Allen and Jane Harper Allen on January 1, 1815 in Danby, Rutland, Vermont. They removed to Collins the same year. Smith died at his home on lot 57 on September 11, 1859, Sarah died August 9, 1859. The Bartlett children: Zoeth Allen Bartlett B: April 23, 1816, married Ruth White 1838 D: September 1874. Richard Bartlett, B: November 28, 1829, married Phoebe Smith 1851, moved to Pontiac, Michigan, D: 1909. Silvia Bartlett 2nd, B: May 2, 1832, married Elijah Willit in 1850, D: 1935. Sarah Bartlett, B: September 24, 1834, married Andrew Jackson Allen in 1854, D: 1866 in Michigan. Ann O Bartlett, B: October 26, 1837, married George Taylor in 1864, D: 1913.
